Summer on the Farm 2019

at Fireplace Farm

Enroll for one week sessions

TUESDAYS to FRIDAYS — 9 to noon— Ages 3 to 9

Tuition: $555 per 4 day week

ADDITIONALLY: CIT program for ages 11- 13 - Tuition for CITs is $275/ week.

10 weeks beginning June 26 and ending August 30

This program fosters healthy development of the whole child through an innovative and richly artistic Waldorf curriculum. Creatively integrated into the daily rhythm are the practical learning experiences that take place on a farm. Experienced Waldorf educators carefully balance each day to include PLAY, ART and REAL WORK on a real, working farm.

 

Led by Maggie Touchette and Andi Pisacano, with a rotation of guest educators including: Meggan Gill, Willow Westwood, Holly Maran and Ashley Wade.

 

Family Farm Day

at Fireplace Farm,

Enroll for the summer session, or drop-in for one class

9.30 to 11.30 AM for children age 7 & younger, and their caregivers

Tuition: $540 for the summer session

6 Mondays beginning July 15 and ending Aug 19

Join us for a morning on the farm for the whole family: weed, plant, harvest and ENJOY! This program is led by experienced Waldorf educators and follows a gentle rhythm of farm chores, artistic activity, circle time, a hearty, healthy snack and storytelling. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver to attend.

Led by Meggan Gill and Maggie Touchette.

 

Parent + Child Class

Enroll for the summer session — MONDAYS

8.45 - 10 AM for children 12 - 24 months

10.45 - 12.15 for children 18 - 36 months

Tuition: $325 for the summer session

7 Mondays, beginning July 8 and ending Aug 19

This outdoor class offers an introduction to Waldorf Education led by experienced Waldorf educators. In a gentle, nurturing environment, parents and children come together to explore the wonders of the first years of life in a bountiful outdoor setting. The vegetable patch, herb and flower gardens and woodland play yard create a pastoral setting,  providing the perfect backdrop for the time-honored joys of childhood summertime.

Led by Andi Pisacano and assistant teacher, Willow Westwood.
